Why We Built This Site
Colorado provides several forms of public access, but no single office holds the whole trail. The Alamosa County Sheriff's Office maintains sheriff reports, detention, and booking material. The Combined Court clerk keeps filed charges, docket events, dispositions, and sentences. CBI operates the statewide criminal-history repository, while CDOC and the state registry answer different custody and registration questions. We collect the verified request steps, official links, fees, and contact routes for those distinct custodians.
What You Will Find Here
- Agency contacts: official routes to the sheriff, Combined Court, and Colorado record systems
- Record guides: how criminal court case records are found and read in Alamosa County
- Official check steps: how CBI name checks and CABS fingerprint services differ
- Record sealing: where Colorado forms are found and where an Alamosa petition is filed
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site, with no connection to a Colorado court, sheriff, police department, or state agency. Those limits matter:
- We cannot run an official background check or pull a criminal record for anyone
- We cannot file sealing petitions, records requests, or other paperwork on your behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of any criminal record, court document, or rap sheet
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific charge or case applies to you
- We cannot promise that every phone number, fee, or address remains current
Only the originating sheriff, court, police agency, or Colorado Bureau of Investigation can issue its official record. The document must come from that custodian.

Search boxes on some pages are operated by outside providers. Those firms control their services, prices, and displayed results. A paid signup reached through a tool may produce a referral fee that supports this resource. We neither set the charge nor control the provider's output.
